Bearings
Rolling bearings for machine spindles, shafts, conveyors, pumps and fans. Selection comes down to bore, load, speed and how much dirt the bearing has to survive — and in Egyptian conditions that last point decides more failures than the first three combined.
The series numbering carries most of what you need. A 6203-2RS is a 6200-series single-row deep groove ball bearing with a 17 mm bore and rubber seals on both sides; a 6203-ZZ is the same bearing with steel shields. Seals hold grease in and dust out and cost a little speed; shields are faster and cheaper and let fine dust through. In a dusty workshop or an unsealed housing, 2RS is almost always the right answer, and an open bearing in that environment is a warranty claim waiting to happen.
We list bore, outside diameter, width, seal type and the ISO tolerance class for every line, so a replacement can be identified from the old bearing's markings without measuring.

How to choose
Bore first, since that is fixed by the shaft. Then the series, which sets the outside diameter and width and therefore how much load the bearing can take in the space you have. Then speed against the load — a bearing rated for both separately may not survive both together, and the limiting speed in a catalogue assumes correct lubrication. Then the seal: 2RS for dust and washdown, ZZ where speed matters and the housing is clean, open only inside a sealed and lubricated assembly.
Frequently asked
What does 2RS mean, and when should I use ZZ instead?
2RS is a rubber contact seal on both sides; ZZ is a steel shield on both sides. Use 2RS wherever there is dust, moisture or washdown — which is most Egyptian workshops. Use ZZ where the speed is high and the housing is genuinely clean, because the contact seal costs a little speed and adds drag.
How do I identify a bearing from the old one?
The designation is stamped on the inner or outer ring. If it has worn off, measure bore, outside diameter and width in millimetres and send all three — those dimensions identify the series unambiguously.
Do you supply bearings for high-temperature applications?
Available to order with high-temperature grease and, where needed, a modified internal clearance. Send the operating temperature and speed, since standard grease breaks down well below the temperature the steel itself tolerates.
