These exist as standards precisely so a mould can be repaired years later without reverse-engineering it. Ejector pins to DIN 1530 and ISO 8404, guide pillars and bushes to DIN 9825 and DIN 9833, die springs to ISO 10243 with its colour-coded load classes — and the Meusburger and Hasco catalogues, which most Egyptian toolrooms work from in practice even when the parts come from elsewhere. Naming the equivalence is the useful thing: a shop that has always ordered an E 1000 knows immediately what a DIN 1530 form A pin is.
Die springs deserve particular care. The ISO 10243 colour code sets load class, not size — green light, blue medium, red heavy, yellow extra heavy — so a red spring in a green pocket will overload the tool rather than simply feel stiffer.

How to choose
Work from the catalogue reference the toolroom already uses if there is one, because equivalence between systems is exact and guessing is not. Where there is no reference, ejector pins need diameter, length and head form; guide pillars need diameter, length and whether they are shouldered or straight; die springs need outside diameter, hole diameter, free length and load class. Never substitute a die spring by dimension alone — the ISO 10243 colour sets the load, and the wrong class overloads the tool.

Do you supply Meusburger or Hasco equivalents?
We supply to the underlying DIN and ISO standards, which those catalogues are built on. Send the Meusburger or Hasco reference you normally order and we will confirm the equivalent designation before quoting, so nothing is assumed.
What do the die spring colours mean?
Load class under ISO 10243, not size. Green is light, blue medium, red heavy, yellow extra heavy. A red spring will physically fit a green pocket and overload the tool, so always match the class as well as the dimensions.
Can you machine a non-standard ejector pin?
Yes — we run our own CNC shop, so a stepped or shouldered pin outside the standard range is manufacturing rather than sourcing. Send a dimensioned drawing with the material and hardness required.
