How to choose
Size from the load and the travel, in that order, and include the dynamic load not just the static one — a rail that holds the weight at rest can still fail under acceleration. Then check the duty cycle: continuous operation needs a larger size than the same load moved twice an hour. Then the mounting. A correctly sized rail bolted to a surface that is not flat within its own tolerance transfers that error into the motion, so machining or shimming the mounting face is part of the specification, not an afterthought.

Which rail size do I need — HGH15, HGH20 or HGH25?
Driven by load and moment, not by the machine's size. HGH15 suits light gantries and small retrofits, HGH20 is the common choice for router and mill conversions, HGH25 and above for heavier cutting loads. Send the moving mass, the cutting force and the span and we will size it.
What is the difference between HGH and HGW blocks?
The same rail and the same load rating — only the block body differs. HGH is square and bolts from below; HGW is flanged and bolts from above. Choose whichever your mounting plate allows access to.
Can you supply a ball screw cut to length?
Yes, machined to your end-journal drawing. Send the drawing with the required travel and we will quote the screw, nut and support units together, since mismatching those three is the usual cause of a retrofit binding.
