Distribution for Egypt and the MENA region
MasterParts is an Egyptian industrial parts distributor and contract manufacturer based in Cairo. We are appointing manufacturing partners in cutting tools, workholding, bearings, motion components, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves, pumps and industrial electrical products. If your products are not represented in Egypt, or are represented badly, we would like to talk.
Start a conversation →Why Egypt, and why now
Egypt has around 110 million people and a deep industrial base — machine shops, mould and die makers, automotive suppliers, appliance manufacturers, food processing plants and a construction sector at national scale. What it does not have is a single-source technical catalogue. Industrial buying here runs through fragmented importers, most of whom publish no specifications, hold no consistent stock and offer no technical support.
That gap is what MasterParts exists to close, and it is why a manufacturer's products can be under-represented here despite real demand.
Who we are
We are not a trading company that will list your products beside eleven competitors and wait for the phone to ring.
We run a CNC machine shop.
Milling, sheet metal, welding and assembly, in Cairo. We specify, buy and use exactly the categories we distribute — when we sell a collet chuck or a modular fixture plate, we have used one.
We work to Western catalogue standards.
Our founder works as remote engineering support for Livetools Australia, so technical documentation, drawing packages and distributor processes are familiar territory rather than a new demand to accommodate.
We publish in Arabic and English.
Our catalogue is fully bilingual, which very few Egyptian industrial suppliers manage. Your products will be findable by the people who actually specify them, in the language they specify in.
What we offer a manufacturer
| Local stock | We hold inventory so your customers get parts in days, not on a twenty-five day sailing |
|---|---|
| Technical catalogue | Full specifications, dimensional data and datasheets published in Arabic and English |
| In-market support | Engineers who can answer application questions rather than forward them to you |
| Import and clearance | We handle Egyptian customs, documentation and compliance |
| Market feedback | Real reporting on what sells, at what price, against which competitors |
| Exhibitions | Representation of your brand at Egyptian and regional trade events |
What we look for
- •A manufacturer, not a trading company
- •Products with genuine technical documentation in English
- •Willingness to appoint a territory, exclusive or non-exclusive
- •Realistic first-order quantities while demand is established
- •Technical training for our team, remote or on site
How it usually starts
- 1 An introduction call. What you make, what you already have in the region, what you want to achieve here.
- 2 A trial order. Small, to validate real demand before either side commits to volume.
- 3 A catalogue listing. We publish your products with full specifications, in both languages.
- 4 A territory agreement. Terms, pricing, targets and support, once the demand is proven rather than assumed.
We would rather start small and grow honestly than sign a headline agreement neither side can service.
Frequently asked
What volumes can you commit to initially?
We prefer to begin with a trial order and build from measured demand. Committing to a volume before either of us knows the market is how distribution agreements fail.
Can you handle Egyptian import requirements?
Yes. We manage customs clearance, documentation and Egyptian regulatory compliance, including producer registration requirements where they apply.
Do you offer exclusivity?
Either arrangement can work. Exclusivity is reasonable where it comes with support and realistic targets, and we are equally comfortable starting non-exclusive and earning it.
What do you need from us to list a product?
Dimensioned drawings or a specification sheet, product photographs, and permission to publish both. Everything else we handle.
