Description
Fourteen matched pairs of hardened and ground parallels, 150 mm long, in graduated heights. Parallels set the workpiece at a known height above the vise bed so the cutter clears the jaws, and their accuracy transfers straight into the part: if the pair is not matched, the part comes out tapered. Ground to 0.01 mm on thickness and parallelism, matched in pairs and marked. Hardened to 58-62 HRC so a dropped parallel dents rather than deforms.
