Description

A four-flute solid carbide end mill for milling steel, stainless steel and cast iron on CNC machining centres. The TiAlN coating raises the tool's hot hardness, which is what allows the higher surface speeds carbide is bought for. Four flutes give a better finish and more radial support than a two-flute cutter, at the cost of chip room — for aluminium choose the two- or three-flute uncoated version instead, which will not pack up with chips. Dimensions to DIN 6527 L. Supplied with a plain cylindrical shank for ER collet or hydraulic holding.
