Description
A hardened and ground precision milling vise with a 100 mm jaw width and 125 mm maximum opening. The bed and jaw faces are ground square and parallel to within 0.02 mm, which is what lets a part be clamped, machined, turned over and machined again without re-indicating. Pull-down jaw design draws the moving jaw toward the bed as it tightens, so the part is pulled onto the parallels rather than lifted off them — jaw lift is the single commonest cause of a part coming out of a vise thicker at one end.
